Welcome on the website of the Archives of Saône-et-Loire (South Burgundy, France), which informs you about our public and private archival collections and explains how you can get started with your research !

The Archives of Saône-et-Loire contain 18 000 linear meters of archives and printed documents (periodicals, books...) related to local history. The earliest piece of our collections is a parchment dated 819 from Tournus.

Please note that at the moment this site essentially provides finding aids and catalogs. Only a few number of digitized documents can be viewed online.

Access to the Archives of Saône-et-Loire is free of charge.
